I predict
November will
be full of promises
I couldn’t keep
I didn’t pay
and lovers
who wouldn’t lay.

Some modern day Methuselah,
I am a prophet
who can assure you
that each of her prophecies
will come true.

  1. Sue, I don’t think I told you how much I enjoyed this poem the first time I read it. It’s awesome. Our Novembers don’t seem that far apart.

  4. sue, yesterday i wrote practically a short story, mostly paying homage to Lhasa the tri-lingual Diva who died giggling her friends reported,on 01 01 10.She transported me which made dancing vital, and as she said” my musiic imposes gentleness” and her songs reached out and into the audiances.I think your songs do that, its alove affair. My point protect them.

  5. Thanks Golden for your continued readership and the streamofconsciousness experience that is time spent with you. I feel the love and all respect for the kind words. Like I told you the other day, the fact that I’m a chirp who can strum some chords is just happenstance. What I really do is write. Thanks for noticing. Sue
