with one comment

Meredith is a Portland activist and poet.  Her work centers around anti-war action, health care, and general working class issues. She is a member of PDX Peace and the International Socialist Organization.  She is also a contributing writer to Socialistworker.org. She has learned the hard way that poetry is a terrible thing to major in, but the best way to live.  Poetry can be as free as you like, she says though she likes to put hers in a box, snatch the thoughts that endlessly bubble up and trap them, for a moment, in a line or two.
